I’m Danielle, the designer & developer who makes things simple

I’m a website designer and developer, but I do things differently. I’ve worked with over 90 brands on their websites, ranging from custom tweaks to fully bespoke websites. It’s safe to say that I know a thing or 2 about websites.

My website design and development process is simple: we work together to figure out exactly what your business needs before I do the BTS magic to make it come to life. Everything I do is collaborative, supportive and creative, so that you actually enjoy the website build process, rather than it keeping you up at night.


So, how does the Winter Glow Up work?

Before the project

We’ll start with a discovery call where I can learn more about your business and you’ll complete a questionnaire - the more information you provide, the better! You’ll also send across all of your branding, images and copy at least 5 days before the project.

During the project

You’ll be sent a mockup of the homepage (& product page for Shopify stores) to approve to make sure that I’m on the right track, before I build out the rest of the site. The rest of the website will be based on the homepage so that you have a beautiful, consistent website.

At the end of the project

Following the final revision round, all that’s left for you to do is purchase your website subscription and then I’ll help to transfer the domain. You’ll also get 2 weeks of support post-project and access to video trainings so that you can feel confident maintaining your website.

  • Squarespace has been my go-to choice for service-based businesses for many years now. It’s simple to use, has lots of flexibility behind-the-scenes for custom development, and I’ve found that it’s easy for clients to manage without me after I’ve designed and built their website.

    Squarespace ticks all the boxes for my service-based clients and it’s a joy to work with as a designer and developer - so it’s the obvious choice for your business too, if you’re looking for a site that looks good, works well and is simple to handle without having to learn intense website development skills!

  • Because, quite frankly, Shopify is the best option out there!

    For product-based businesses like yours, you need a website that handles product listings, inventory management, shipping logistics and everything in between - without needing to do everything manually. And that’s exactly what Shopify does.

    It’s built with e-commerce business in mind, unlike most other website platforms, so it does everything you’d expect it to do straight out of the box. Combine that foundational e-commerce specialism with bespoke design and Shopify development and you’ll have a custom e-commerce website that works for your brand in no time!

  • All Shopify stores are based on a theme, even if they’re highly custom, bespoke stores. For most projects I will use either my exclusive base theme that I have carefully built for my clients or a premium theme from the Shopify theme store if it fits the project.

    Premium Shopify themes have been highly tested and have extra features built in that would take a considerable amount of time and therefore cost a lot to code from scratch. For example, enhanced product page features, better filters, sleek animations, in-built pop ups and so much more.

    Using my exclusive base theme or a external premium theme allows us to have the best of both worlds. It means we can highly customise the theme using extra coded elements and sections to make it feel perfectly on brand for your business. Therefore, this gives you a more flexible and affordable website compared to building every single element from scratch.

  • Collaboration and communication are so important in the website design process! I might be the one designing and developing your website, but it’s still your website - so it’s really important to me that you’re as happy as you possibly can be with it!

    I’ve finessed my website design process over the years into a carefully mapped out journey that keeps you in the loop at every stage and makes the most of your valuable input. Any and all feedback is always encouraged and will help to make sure you leave with a Shopify website you love.

  • This is a limited service and I have 3 slots available throughout November and December 2024.

  • Yes please! Having your website copy and brand photography ready before I start designing your website means that I’ll be able to build a website that really represents your brand and puts your key messaging front and center to increase conversions.

    If you don’t yet have your copy and photography ready, it’s fine to book your Shopify website design in advance - and I can give you guidance for resources or other businesses who can help you with copy and photography. Then, once your copy and photography is ready, we can start your Shopify website right away!

  • Projects can be divided into up to 4 x monthly payments, however a deposit is required to secure your booking.
