How to upload a PDF to your Squarespace website and share it as a link quickly
*Disclaimer - links marked with an asterisk are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you use them. However, I only share tools that I think will really help you!
Welcome to this tutorial on adding a PDF to your Squarespace website! In this video, I'll walk you through the process of uploading a PDF file and generating a shareable link that you can easily provide to your potential customers, like a services and pricing guide
To begin, we'll navigate to Squarespace and access the website editor. Once there, we'll locate the pages tab on the left-hand side of the panel. Scroll down to the "not linked" section of your website and click on the plus icon to add a new page.
Next, we'll scroll down and find the "link" button on the left-hand side of the panel. Clicking on the plus icon will open the link section. Within the link section, we'll proceed to the file option by clicking on the gear icon.
Here, you'll see any files that have already been uploaded to your website. To upload a new file, click on "upload file" and select the desired PDF from your source files by clicking "open."
Select your chosen file, and then a link will be automatically generated, but remember to pay attention to capital letters as they impact the link on Squarespace.
Feel free to customize the link text to anything you prefer and don't forget to add a relevant link title. Once you're done, click "save" to preserve your changes. From there, you can add the link to your website's design or include it as an extension of your domain by using the forward slash.
That's it! You've successfully added a PDF to your Squarespace website and generated a convenient link šš
